Pastor Nathan is one of AWAKENHAITI’s primary partners of ministry in Haiti. Our ongoing ministry in Canaan is through Pastor Nathan and his church, Bethanie Church of Canaan.

Pastor Nathan’s primary church is located on the outskirts of Port au Prince, Haiti in an area called Delmas. This church in Delmas is supported by South Lewiston Baptist Church in Maine. In the past, AWAKENHAITI has served Pastor Nathan’s ministry by providing chairs and a sound system for his church, completing a number of small construction projects, and supplying furnishings for his home in Delmas.

The earthquake in January 2010 inflicted major damage to Pastor Nathan’s church and personal residence. AWAKENHAITI responded with assistance in funding the rebuild and repair effort for the church and by providing rent for a new home for one year through the AWAKENHAITI Earthquake Relief Fund.
