Dear Friends,

It is our privilege to write to you to tell you about an amazing opportunity we have been given. We have been seeking God’s guidance and direction to live more Christ-like for our lives over the past number of years, and we are humbled to say God has led us to serve in Haiti full-time. As we serve as the Operations Directors in Haiti for the AWAKENHAITI ministry, our responsibilities are:

1. Coordinate Earthquake Relief Efforts

• Provide oversight for the distribution of CBIC earthquake relief funds
• Conduct research, due diligence and screening of needs

2. Launch and Manage Guest House and Short-Term Mission Team Program

• Furnish, open, and manage Guest House operations
• Hire and manage guest house staff for hosting teams
• Research and establish suitable projects and activities for visiting teams
• Implement a repeatable short-term mission trip process

3. Partner with the Cazeaus to Lead and Manage the Good Samaritan Ministry

• Continued development and implementation of the Good Samaritan Ministry plan
• Coordination and oversight of the Good Samaritan building project
• Development and launch of orphanage transition program
• Oversight of micro-loans for small business start up

4. Communication, Research and Relationship Building

• Continue to build and strengthen relationships with key Haitian leaders
• Research and qualify other potential orphanages in Haiti that may need financial assistance
• Provide updates and status reports to CBIC
• Provide updates and status reports to current and potential ministry supporters
• Facilitate communication with affiliated ministries

5. Mentor/Intern Program

• Host and mentor college students wishing to serve for 1 to 3 months
• Host and mentor young adults desiring to serve as interns for 6 months to 1 year
• Host and mentor married couples desiring to serve as interns for 6 months to 1 year

We trust that God will continue to change lives both the Haitians and in those coming to serve. In order for us to be able to carry out this mission, we need partners. We are looking for partners to walk alongside us spiritually and financially.
